Product Excellence Award for FlexiCombi
Leading the way in cutting edge product innovation and development, MKN’s FlexiCombi was recognised at the Caterer Product Excellence Awards as the best in category for Ranges and Ovens. The awards final, held on 3rd December at the prestigious Westminster Kingsway College in London, celebrates excellence and innovation in food, drink and equipment products within the hospitality sector, and represents the very best examples of product development in the industry. MKN joined 28 other worthy winners on the night, which was attended by over 90 suppliers and manufacturers, alongside students of the College. Lisa Jenkins, products and suppliers editor of The Caterer and Oliver Cock, commercial director for Compass Group UK & Ireland presented the awards.
The judging sessions took place over five days, with the winners decided by industry experts from across all sectors of hospitality. The judges tasted more than 120 products and debated nearly 100 pieces of equipment as they sought excellence in flavour, design and innovation. We are passionate about our catering equipment and believe our cutting edge technology and innovation is second to none. “As the winner of this award, the FlexiCombi has been recognised as a great product which is absolutely fundamental to the success of our industry. We were up against some tough competition, making this victory that much sweeter. The innovative incorporates a wide range of new, intelligent, technical features to guarantee top cooking results, capacity benefits and outstanding energy and water consumption levels.
