Since 1946, MKN has stood for entrepreneurship, technological expertise and a commitment to take on responsiblity. What began in Wolfenbüttel as a regionally rooted engineering company focusing on bakery equipment, has transformed step by step into an internationally successful premium manufacturer of professional cooking technology – with a presence in around one hundred countries worldwide.
Short-term thinking has never shaped our path. Growth does not happen overnight. It needs continuity, patience and readiness to constantly reinvent ourselves. During these eighty years, markets, technologies, customer requirements and global frameworks have, of course, continuously transformed. What remains unchanged are our core values: quality, reliablity, innovation and a commitment to constant improvement – without neglecting the human element.

From 1946 into the future
Since the company was founded, MKN has continued to develop – driven by strategic internationalisation, patented product innovations and constant expansion of the product portfolio in the multifunctional and classic commercial kitchen technology segments. With solutions like the FlexiCombi®, SpaceCombi®, FlexiChef® and the new modular OPTIMA cooking technology, the company has progressively strengthened its position in global markets.
From the very beginning, our focus has never been just on the individual product, but on the needs of professional kitchens and their users. Today, MKN employs around six hundred people spanning roughly one hundred countries around the globe. Production still takes place exclusively at our company headquarters in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. To secure the location for the long term and future-proof our business, the company continously invests in cutting-edge production processes, digitalisation, high-performance IT infrastructure and sustainable growth.
