The standard and intensity of product training varies greatly across the industry. Much like the quality of the kit you’re buying, some companies will make shortcuts, while others like MKN take great pride in quality and standards. We believe we have a responsibility to support chefs in getting the most from their new appliances, and to make them as long-lasting as possible. Comprehensive product training is a key part of this.
Working with our dealer partners, we offer training on-site for all MKN customers in the UK, matched to their individual requirements. This could include:
We’ve also taken steps to build a comprehensive programme of online training and support, including the MKN Digital Centre, a state-of-the-art broadcast studio at our HQ in Germany, with integrated show kitchen.
From here we offer world-leading customer support materials including livestreams, cooking shows and webinars, individual training courses and digital seminars. The technology enables our customers to ask questions and request technical details in real time and face-to-face.
Our training in practice: Next and CHR Foodservice Equipment Ltd
One of the most recent examples of our dedication to training came at the new distribution centre for retail giant Next, located in Pontefract, Yorkshire.
MKN visited the new kitchen facility alongside CHR Foodservice Equipment Ltd to deliver training on the equipment to kitchen staff in what is MKN UK's first ever site to be fully energy optimised using MKN Optima 850, FlexiCombi and FlexiChef.
