The country guest house in Hersbruck, Middle Franconia is a real family business where regional and traditional values count. The heavy workload 365 days a year without a day off is only manageable because owner’s son and head chef Michi Bauer and his family work effectively as a team. The Bauers aren’t only kept busy in their own establishment, they are also active around the region and involved in branch events. And looking after up-and-coming chefs, e.g. "Mini Chefs", is also a matter very close to their hearts. To sum it up, the Bauers are just passionate about cooking and customer satisfaction.
To be able to have time for their heavy involvement in branch activities as well as their guest house, a perfectly organised kitchen with reliable, state-of-the-art equipment is absolutely essential. Since 2017 an almost 6 m long MKN KüchenMeister kitchen island and a compact SpaceCombi combi steamer have adorned the guest house kitchen.
We push the roasts into the combi steamer just before we finish work and when we start again at 09.00 am the next morning, they’re simply perfect. What more do you want?
