High quality material and innovative technology in all of our product lines make MKN professional cooking equipment extremely durable. It is designed to operate extremely efficiently and save as much energy as possible, therefore conserving valuable resources every day. We continuously strive to optimally combine the needs of our customers with environmental compatibility. One way we achieve this is by offering multifunctional, space-saving appliances with low energy and water consumption. Not forgetting features such as automatic switch-off, LED lighting or capacity optimization. 80 to 90 % of the stainless steel we use comes from recycled material. In addition, spare parts are available throughout the entire lifetime of an appliance. This and many other innovative ideas ensure that MKN's professional cooking equipment operates particularly eco-friendly.

The multifunctional cooking appliance optimises cooking processes and sustainably increases efficiency in professional kitchens. It lets you cook, grill, fry or cook at high speed all in one appliance. Numerous innovative technical features help enhance the sustainability of the FlexiChef.

SpaceClean: The first and only automatic cleaning system for skillet pans. Automatic cleaning in just two minutes without the use of chemicals. Extremely low water consumption.
Turbo PowerBlock: Optimal energy management and with sandwich material for maximum heat storage.
FlexiZone: Grilling, cooking or frying on up to three zones, which can be controlled separately. Energy is used only where required.
Smart Boiling: Considerably less water evaporation during this energy-saving water boiling process and CO2 emissions are reduced by 98%.

The Energy Star label for energy efficiency certifies the energy efficiency of MKN combi steamers (FlexiCombi and Space Combi MP only) worldwide.
The hygienic cooking chamber door is equipped with triple glazing in a sealed frame. You save energy inside the appliance and it radiates less heat into the kitchen.
Automatic cleaning with WaveClean: Complete interior cleaning using only one cartridge (100 % recyclable). A recirculation system ensures optimal water consumption.
FlexiRack capacity concept: Up to 100 % more capacity due to optimal utilisation of the cooking chamber. You save energy and time.
Dyna Steam: Top quality and low water consumption. The required quantity of steam is automatically adjusted to the amount of food being cooked.
The GreenInside consumption display (energy & water) appears after each cooking process (Magic Pilot electric appliances only).
Heat exchanger – Thermal efficiency as standard feature. You save 1 kWh energy per operating hour during steaming.

Energy-saving high-performance MKN induction technology radiates less waste heat into the kitchen. Preheating is not necessary, low energy consumption.
Vapro: Intelligent steam generation system in quick boiling kettles (up to 25 % less energy consumption compared to previous technology) caters for extremely short boiling times due to the small amount of water used.
