Guest House Weingast

Third generation Guest House with Bavarian tradition

What their name already suggests is practical reality. The Weingast family run their guest house with heart and soul. The country guest house in Upper Bavaria has been owned by them since 1932 and is presently in the third generation. Offering traditional, home cooking the family is host to all events taking place in the quiet, idyllic village of Kematen. This keeps them extremely busy, serving 150 meals each day during the week and up to 600 meals on weekend days. Weddings and other family events take place here almost every Saturday.

Owner Rupert Weingast has a thirty-strong team including temporary service staff as well as his parents, who frequently lend a helping hand, particularly in the kitchen.

The proprietor also attaches great importance to his equipment.  The kitchen is well equipped with three different sized MKN combi steamers, a FlexiChef and a customized KüchenMeister cooking suite and so he can easily offer guests fresh dishes using regional products every day. And quality is definitely the word to describe the food served here.  Meat and sausage products are supplied by his brother's family-run butchers in Bad Feilnbach.
